This project revolves around the topic of shopping, as the consumer would see and experience it. The difference being, that this is a purely online experience, in a world of limitless options and multiple minute price differences. What would be the best way to help someone shop in this confusing system? How can we make their decisions simpler? As a systems design project, we decided to undertake the wicked problem of Crime and Punishment, and explore the loops that our socities function within. The project bordered on the moral beliefs of right and wrong, and how socities treat those who make mistakes, or criminals. Largely studied through mapping and extensive research, a working record of the project was maintained in the form of a blog.Details
What if you could take a trip to Mars, in India's most common mode of transport - an autorickshaw? This is our imagination taking a flight of fantasy, and inviting users to drive to Mars in this specailly created installation.Details
An app attempting to plan a roundtrip, that goes via various stops along the Indian Railways - the world's longest and most expansive railroad. This solution is to be an extension the IRCTC connect, and not a stand alone application.Details
Pani caters to the customers who are responsible and aware of their water footprint, and want to experience a multi-sensorial bathing experience, while reducing their water bill. Making a conscious choice of not using the cold digital screen meddium, pani choses to alert and guide a user in a very simple and yet beautiful manner.Details
Focusing on Freelancers, the Smart Space, is an interactive smart product that helps balance their lives when they work outof home, surrounded by a million distractions, and most times, family and children. On the other hand, Smart Space also helps Freelancers 'not' overwork, and encourages them to work focused, and take time off, therefore increasing productivity.Details
The Community Washing, is a System Design project focusing on sustainability - both enviormental and economic. Designed for Kibera Slum in Nairobi, this project piches a community space for washing clothes, which is an important daily task of the women here, while preserving their space to socially connect, and also lessening work load.Details
LightABLE is a product that was developed to help people with motor skill disibilities, and with joint trouble in their hands, be able to light a gas stove. As the most widely used cooking method in India, gas lighters and match-sticks are the only way these are lit by the majority. LightABLE was an attempt to make this essenatial task inclusive, therefore opening up kitchens to differently abled.Details
Tea on the go, is a simple product devised to help tea delivery boys in India carry the hot liquid safely and cheaply, to their consumers. This project attempted to understand how the tea delivery system works, and recpgnise the lack of funds to bring in a "designer product". TeaGo is a simple solution that seemlessly integrates into the economy, and can be extended to further food and liquid carrying situations.Details
